Compare solar savings
How much solar will you use at home? Compare sizes before comparing quotes.
Your household assumptions
Enter your price to calculate annual savings, payback and the 10-year benefit. Use the cost avoided for each grid kWh, including relevant variable charges and tax; exclude fixed charges. No official or fallback price is used.
1,600 is an editable illustration, not a site forecast. Use an installer estimate reflecting orientation, shading and losses.
Share of solar production used at the same time it is generated. 40% is illustrative, not the share of your household demand.
Compare your options
Sizes and installation costs below are editable illustrations, not Cyprus market quotes. No eligibility or grid-connection approval is implied.
Direct-use savings only; export credits are not included. Payback and 10-year figures are simplified estimates assuming unchanged annual generation, consumption and electricity price. Maintenance, financing, degradation, batteries, grants and future electricity price changes are excluded. Not a guaranteed return.
Option 1
Editable illustrative example, not a Cyprus market quotation. Replace with your installation quote.
- Annual generation
- 4,800 kWh
- Used directly at home
- 1,920 kWh
- Exported to grid
- 2,880 kWh
- Remaining grid imports
- 4,080 kWh
Enter your electricity price to calculate savings.
Simple paybackEnter your electricity price to calculate savings.
Illustrative 10-year net benefitEnter your electricity price to calculate savings.
Calculation
3 × 1600 = 4,800 kWh
Direct use: min(4,800 × 40%, 6000) = 1,920 kWh
Option 2
Editable illustrative example, not a Cyprus market quotation. Replace with your installation quote.
- Annual generation
- 8,000 kWh
- Used directly at home
- 3,200 kWh
- Exported to grid
- 4,800 kWh
- Remaining grid imports
- 2,800 kWh

Illustrative 10-year net benefitEnter your electricity price to calculate savings.
Calculation
5 × 1600 = 8,000 kWh
Direct use: min(8,000 × 40%, 6000) = 3,200 kWh
Option 3
Editable illustrative example, not a Cyprus market quotation. Replace with your installation quote.
- Annual generation
- 11,200 kWh
- Used directly at home
- 4,480 kWh
- Exported to grid
- 6,720 kWh
- Remaining grid imports
- 1,520 kWh

Illustrative 10-year net benefitEnter your electricity price to calculate savings.
Calculation
7 × 1600 = 11,200 kWh
Direct use: min(11,200 × 40%, 6000) = 4,480 kWh
The value of using solar now
Directly used solar reduces grid imports. Moving flexible demand into solar hours can increase this share. Annual totals are a simplified model: they cannot predict hourly matching, winter deficits, battery performance or curtailment.
Exports are not valued here
These are direct-use savings only, not whole-scheme savings. Export credits may add value depending on your scheme, price and expiry. Payback excludes maintenance, financing, degradation, battery costs, grants and future price changes; it is not a return guarantee.
